Week Three

Monday- NO School! Martin Luther King Day
Tuesday - Have chapters 12-16 in Frankenstein read for class.
Wednesday - Start Keats presentations.
Thursday - Finish Keats presentations.
Friday - Have chapters 17-21 in Frankenstein read for class. We will also discuss the Creative Engagement Paper due                 next Friday. The Romanticism Exam will also be next Friday.

Week Two

1/8/2014

 
Monday - Have chapters 1-4 of Frankenstein read.
Tuesday - Have "Ozymandias" and "Ode to the West Wind" by Percy Shelley read for class. 
Wednesday - In class, I will assign groups for the Keats presentations, and your groups will have the class time to work                          on your presentations. See Romanticism page for more details. Presentations will begin next Wednesday.
Thursday - Have read the section about "The Byronic Hero" on the Romanticism page for class.
Friday - Have chapters 5-11 of Frankenstein read.

Week One

Monday - Have the headnote on Romanticism in your textbook read for class.
Tuesday - We will continue discussing Romanticism in class. I will pass out copies of Frankenstein. Chapters 1-4 should                   be read for next Monday's class.
Wednesday- Have "Preface to the Lyrical Ballads" by William Wordsworth read for class.
Thursday- Have "Tinturn Abbey" by Wordsworth read for class. Look at section in the Romanticism page. 
Friday- Have "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" by Samuel Taylor Coleridge read for class. It will probably help to listen to                 the recording on the Romanticism page.

    While most assignments and readings will be announced on a weekly basis, I will give more notice for larger projects, papers, and tests.
